I want to dye my dark brown (almost black) hair color to pink without bleaching it?

Hi, i would like to dye some part of my hair pink but without bleaching it, i did the mistake once almost 3 years ago, I colored it red and ya my hair fall out -_- ya went from long to short, now i just want to dye it with a semi-permanent pink, any tips in how to apply it without bleaching it?

nope thats not going to work, you won't be able to see the pink over dark hair. your only other option besides bleaching is to use a high-lift blonde haircolor (not bleach) and lighten the part that you want to make pink, and then put the pink over the blonde so you can see it. but, this can only be achieved if you have virgin hair because color won't lift color. if you have colored hair, you will have to bleach it first.I want to dye my dark brown (almost black) hair color to pink without bleaching it?
True pink dye will not show up without bleaching your hair (I've got pretty dark brown hair myself and I know that I can't use lighter-colored dyes). Any dye that will show up without bleach must be made for dark hair - you know those squares on the side of the boxes that show in which colors the dye shows up best? Without bleach, you'll probably only be able to find a dark red or more subtle ones to make your brown a warmer or cooler tone. :-/ Pink just demands blonde.
i am a hairstylist and there is no way to do it without pre bleaching.....color will not lift color!Go buy whatever color semi permanent color you want and take it to a professional to have it bleached and dyed(most professionls unless you are in a big city don't keep pink dye in stock)...

I had the underneath and ends of my hair various colours over the years and have the same hair colour as yours - very dark brown. I always had to bleach.





You could go for a consultation to a hairdresers (free) and see what they say?
i dont think you can accomplish it w/o the bleach. i would go to a professional hair stylist and ask them, or just give them a call. it would be just a consultation and you wouldnt have to pay for anything, this will give you a better idea of the best avenue.

you will half to strip the part of your hair you want to die pink then you can die it pink. that is exactially what i did with my hair i did it like jeff hardy in wwe and i did it without bleaching it and it turned out great.
I don't think you can do it without bleach, unfortunately. The pink won't show up on such a dark colour.
Go to a professional. Don't try doing this alone unless you want to repeat your same mistake again. Good luck.

i really dont think it can be done without bleaching. my hairs a dark brown and i could never get it to go lighter.
