Will pink dye show on my natural black hair color?

Well I was thinking of dying my hair pink...a lightish pink color... but I dont know if it will show up or not. I heard that bleaching your hair on your natural hair color could cause a lot of damage to your hair. I dont want that to happen to me! Please help me... I dont bleach my hair to get it damaged and I want to dye my hair light pink. D=Will pink dye show on my natural black hair color?
Honestly - if you don't want a lot of damage done, you'd need to go to the salon to get a light pink on naturally black hair.

If you want a good red, use L'Oreal Color Rays. It's made for dark hair. Will pink dye show on my natural black hair color?
Unfortunately, you may only see a very small hint of pink (maybe purple), but that's about it. You would have to bleach it....if you really want pink hair, go to the hair salon.
Just bleach it.
Won't be able to see it. Sorry.
the pink may not show not even as a highlight in the sun.

sorry, you want pink? you got to bleach. vol 40.

all products damage.. it's how you care for your hair is what counts.

proper diet.. gentle shampoos and thick lustrious conditioners will help.

(IE: pantene products) i have bleach damaged hair but it's as if it was never touched because i use pantene for curly hair and i condition alot... i also only wash my hair 4 days a week.

proper diet helps keep hair healthy and able to bring the oils through out the hair also.. and with the scalp.

but in order for the pink to show you must bleach parts of it in order to get the effect. vol 40 bleach, manic panic's flash lightening is great, gentle and reliable.

first, wash your hair then add bleach.. this will help improve chances of getting desired lightening... without having to double bleach at another time which can really dry out hair. one time bleaching works best and has better results on keeping hair smooth and managable.

add pink to desired areas after you wash the bleach from your hair.. while hair is still damp.. leave dye on hair for an hour.

then rinse gently... then leave hair alone for 3 days to help distribute the oils.

also don't use brushes with plastic bristles and combs are out of the question. natural brushes and only brush your hair before you go to wash.. otherwise the hands are enough to keep the hair detangled.. this is also important.

research more about this in google.com about dying your hair unnatural colors and using hair bleaches.. there's many good suggestions and care instructions so you'll get the best out of your hair...

the hair will be damaged but no one says you can't have soft, silky hair... proper care and condition! condition! condition! will take care of the dry part.

also... if you wish to upkeep the pink.. add to conditioner each time you want to condition your hair then rinse out.

don't bleach hair too often.. every 3 to 4 months is more than enough for maintenance.
